Pharmacist Job in Umm-al-Qaiwain
We are looking for a highly skilled pharmacist to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain and help serve our customers' needs with the highest level of service. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advice and support to customers on their pharmaceutical needs, as well as maintaining the pharmacy store in compliance with all relevant regulations.
The successful candidate must have a strong background in pharmacology and a good understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations. You must have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You must also be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. We are willing to consider applicants who are immigrants to the UAE or other countries.
Job Description:
As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing advice on prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, vitamins, minerals, herbal products and other health care items to customers. You will also need to ensure that all medications are stored correctly and safely; monitor expiry dates; maintain records; fill prescriptions; provide information about products; answer customer questions; process payments; keep up with new developments in the pharmacy field; advise customers on how best to use medications; manage inventory levels; advise physicians about drug interactions, therapeutic indications and dosage forms; provide input into formulary decisions; participate in clinical services such as immunizations or smoking cessation programs when available.
Needs for the Candidate:
The successful candidate must possess a Bachelorās degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university along with at least 3 yearsā experience working in a pharmacy setting. He/she should have an excellent command of written & spoken English language & be familiar with UAE pharmacy legal requirements & guidelines. A valid UAE license is preferred but not required for this role & can be obtained after hiring if needed. Knowledge of computer systems is needed & experience using EMR systems is preferable but not necessary.
