Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Petroleum Engineer to join a leading energy company in Dubai. We are looking for an individual who can help identify and develop new sources of energy and maximize oil production from existing sources. This role offers a competitive base salary of 1700 AED, plus generous benefits.

Needs for the Candidate
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a deep understanding of petroleum engineering principles. The successful candidate should have excellent knowledge and experience in the analysis of geological, geophysical, and reservoir engineering data to improve oil production operations. He or she should also have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this role is to identify new sources of energy by analyzing geological data and providing recommendations on how to increase oil production from existing sources. The engineer will work closely with the company’s drilling team to develop new well designs for optimal performance. Other duties include:
-Analyzing reservoir data using geophysical methods to optimize production operations;
-Developing well models using advanced software;
-Monitoring various aspects of the production process such as pressure, temperature, flow rate, etc.;
-Interpreting test results from laboratory analyses;
-Conducting research in order to identify new technologies that can improve the efficiency of oil extraction;
-Reporting regularly on progress made in developing new technologies or increasing productivity from existing ones;

Qualifications and Experience
We require applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the oil or gas industry is also necessary for this role. Candidates must have strong problem solving skills as well as excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in English language. Knowledge of other languages such as Arabic will be advantageous but not essential.
