We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing engineering projects related to the improvement and maintenance of civil infrastructure. Job Responsibilities
• Develop detailed plans and designs for civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, water systems, transportation systems, etc.
• Analyze data from surveys, maps, drawings, aerial photographs, satellite images and other sources to ensure accurate project design
• Prepare tender documents for prospective contractors
• Monitor progress of the project from start to finish to ensure timely completion and delivery within budget constraints
• Manage day-to-day operations at the construction site including scheduling equipment deliveries, supervising contractors/subcontractors on site etc.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations in regards to safety standards and environmental regulations while working on the project
• Prepare reports on project activities as well as completion reports upon completion of the project
• Provide technical advice on civil engineering matters while working collaboratively with other departments such as procurement or finance teams.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred
• Must have valid professional engineer license by Saudi Council for Engineers or equivalent government agency
• At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field is required; experience with infrastructure development is preferred
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal; proficiency in English is essential
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD software or any other similar software used for design purposes
