Job Title: Office Assistant
Location: Jebel Ali, UAE
Salary: 1700 AED
We are looking for an experienced Office Assistant to join our team in Jebel Ali, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office and ensuring that the administrative functions of the office run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming phone calls and emails in a professional manner and redirect to the appropriate person.
• Greet visitors warmly, provide them with assistance, and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
• Maintain stock of office supplies and order new supplies as needed.
• Monitor inventory of stationery, equipment, etc. and ensure all items are stocked adequately.
• Organize meetings including setting up conference rooms, ordering food or drinks, preparing materials for presentations, etc.
• Create reports on a regular basis and assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by management.
• Perform general clerical duties such as filing documents, photocopying/scanning documents, data entry tasks, etc.
• Maintain accurate records in an organized manner.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications such as MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Good organizational and communication skills; able to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality of work output is essential.
