Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Crane Operator in Doha, who is capable of operating a wide range of cranes and other lifting equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating the crane, while adhering to all safety regulations and standards. They should have an eye for detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The salary offered is 1500 per month.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Crane Operator is to operate crane equipment in order to lift, move or position materials. This includes loading and unloading cargo from ships, trucks or railcars; maneuvering materials into place; setting up rigging and ensuring all safety measures are followed. They should be able to read blueprints or diagrams to determine load capacities and determine the best way to transport materials safely.

Other duties include performing regular maintenance on the crane; keeping accurate records of all operations; monitoring workers who are assisting with the lift; ensuring safety procedures are being followed; testing various components of the crane prior to operation; reporting any malfunctions or damages immediately; troubleshooting any mechanical issues that arise while operating the crane.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have at least 3 years' experience as a Crane Operator, with experience in all types of cranes (tower cranes, mobile cranes etc). They must also possess a valid driver's license as some travel may be required. Candidates must also demonstrate knowledge of safety regulations related to lifting operations as well as excellent communication skills. We are open to considering foreign candidates.
