Merchandiser Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Merchandiser to join our team in Jabal-Ali. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to manage the merchandise supply chain and customer experience.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the supply chain process from purchase order to delivery of products.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities for replenishment or product rotation.
• Source new suppliers for better pricing, quality or delivery times.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure products meet safety, quality, and customer standards.
• Monitor customer satisfaction levels and resolve any complaints quickly.
• Prepare reports on inventory levels, sales trends, stock movements, and other relevant information.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, payments, and other related activities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers and customers quickly.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, negotiation techniques, product pricing strategies, shipping requirements, etc.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks undertaken.
• Good knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Salary: 1600 AED monthly
