The Mechanic in Doha is a great opportunity for an immigrant with minimal work experience. The Mechanic will be responsible for providing mechanic services and maintenance of vehicles and machines. This includes diagnosing mechanical problems and repairing or replacing parts and components as necessary. The Mechanic must have a good working knowledge of all aspects of vehicle maintenance, from brakes to engines, transmissions to suspensions.

The primary duties of the Mechanic include inspecting vehicles for safety and identifying any mechanical issues; performing repairs on all types of vehicles; testing repaired parts for proper functioning; ensuring that all work is completed within the expected timeframe; maintaining accurate records of all repairs and servicing; and ensuring that all tools are properly used. Additionally, the Mechanic may be required to carry out other duties as assigned by management.

Skills required for this position include knowledge of vehicle mechanics, excellent manual dexterity, the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), the ability to lift heavy objects safely, basic computer skills (including familiarity with electronic diagnostic equipment) , strong organizational skills, and time management capabilities.

Requirements for this role include at least one year of experience as a mechanic in a similar role or with the same type of vehicle being maintained; a valid driver’s license; technical certifications related to vehicle mechanics; the ability to pass a background check; a high school diploma or equivalent degree; and proficiency in English language. We offer an attractive salary package of 1800 QR per month for this position.
