Job Description:
• Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver products, materials, or supplies from one place to another.
• Load and unload cargo in a safe and timely manner.
• Read maps and follow instructions to plan routes for deliveries.
• Follow safety procedures when operating trucks or loading cargo.
Requirements & Skills:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a driver of commercial trucks (tractor-trailer).
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to read maps, plans routes, keep records, use GPS systems and navigate unfamiliar roads.
• Excellent knowledge of the geography in the region.
• Good physical fitness level required for loading/unloading cargo by hand.
