Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating various electrical and electronic instruments or instrumentation systems. This position offers a salary of 1600 and is open to foreigners.

Job Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, maintain, and calibrate various electrical and electronic instruments or instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning instruments or equipment and make adjustments as necessary.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings and engineering instructions in order to complete assigned tasks.
• Inspect equipment to diagnose problems using testing devices such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters or ohmmeters
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools or soldering iron
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as cleaning components or lubricating parts
• Keep accurate records of repairs made to ensure a consistent maintenance schedule is followed
• Test the performance of all installed systems to ensure they meet required standards
• Participate in safety programs related to instrumentation systems and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED; college-level courses in electrical/electronic engineering preferred
• Proven experience as an Instrument Technician in a similar role
• Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques related to instrumentation systems
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings and engineering instructions
• Ability to use testing devices such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters or ohmmeters
• Excellent physical condition with ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy equipment when needed
• Good hand-eye coordination with manual dexterity
