Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall kitchen operations and will be in charge of managing the kitchen staff and creating delicious dishes.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent culinary skills and have a creative approach to food preparation, with a passion for providing high-quality cuisine. Previous experience managing a team is essential, as well as knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards. We are willing to consider immigrant candidates.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the entire kitchen operations, including staff management, menu planning, budgeting and purchasing of ingredients.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations as well as food hygiene standards.
• Develop creative recipes that meet customer preferences while taking into account customer feedback and market trends.
• Train staff on proper cooking techniques such as marinating, seasoning, frying, baking etc.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders for ingredients and manage stock rotation to ensure freshness of ingredients used in dishes.
• Monitor quality control measures throughout the kitchen operations to ensure consistent high-quality dishes are served on time.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification is preferred but not necessary.
• 5+ years of experience in a culinary position with at least 3 years in an executive chef role is required.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques (marinating, grilling, baking etc.) is essential.
• Excellent people management skills with proven ability to lead a team successfully is mandatory.
