Executive Chef job in Riyadh Saudi Arabia
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will possess a passion for culinary excellence and have the ability to manage a high-volume kitchen with diverse menu options. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in a 5-star restaurant, hotel or catering business. As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for supervising and developing the kitchen staff, creating menu designs, controlling food costs, monitoring quality of product and service, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. A salary of 1600 is offered to the successful candidate. We will consider applications from foreigners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations including menu design, cost control, inventory management, staffing and training
- Oversee daily operations of all kitchen staff including cooks, sous chefs and dishwashers
- Ensure that all dishes served meet the highest standards of quality
- Develop a team spirit among staff members
- Monitor food preparation techniques to ensure that a consistent quality is maintained
- Adhere to all health codes and regulations set by local authorities
- Maintain financial records related to kitchen operations such as budgeting/costs/expenses etc.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- 5+ years' experience as an Executive Chef in a 5 star restaurant/hotel/catering business required
- Knowledge of ordering systems such as eFlex or similar systems preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff members
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
