Position: Executive Chef – Riyadh
Salary: 1500 SAR/month
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Riyadh. The Executive Chef will be responsible for the overall management of all kitchen operations, including menu planning, budgeting and cost control, staff training and development, and maintaining the highest standard of food quality. The successful candidate should have excellent culinary skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for creating innovative dishes with local ingredients.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all kitchen operations including menu planning, budgeting/cost control, staff training and development.
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality are maintained at all times.
• Create innovative dishes with local ingredients while keeping costs low.
• Monitor food preparation to ensure that all recipes are followed correctly.
• Order supplies as needed to maintain an adequate inventory of ingredients.
• Train staff on proper handling of food items and safety procedures.
• Develop strategies to reduce kitchen waste and maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all health regulations related to kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in a professional kitchen environment as a Chef or Sous-Chef; experience as an Executive Chef is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Strong leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal skills • Fluency in English is preferred; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
Salary: 1500 SAR/month
