Barista - Umm-al-Qaiwain (Salary: 1800 AED)

We are looking for a Barista to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. We are ready to consider foreign candidates with the right experience and qualifications.

Demands for the Candidate:
• Must have at least 2 years' experience working as a Barista
• Must be customer service oriented with excellent people skills
• Must be able to work under pressure while dealing with customers in a professional manner
• Must have excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
• Knowledge of Arabic language is an added advantage
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:
• Prepare beverages based on customer orders
• Take orders from customers directly or via phone/online ordering system
• Serve food items like sandwiches, salads, etc. as requested by customers
• Maintain cleanliness of the café, including counters, tables, floors, etc.
• Ensure proper rotation of food items according to expiration dates
• Assist in inventory management including ordering supplies / stock/food items as needed

Job Description:
The Barista is responsible for preparing coffee beverages and other drinks to perfection according to customer orders. The Barista will also serve food items like sandwiches and salads as requested by customers. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Additionally, the candidate must be familiar with inventory management practices and able to order supplies/stock items according to needs.
