Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to oversee the operations of our restaurant in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the kitchen staff, ensuring that all dishes served are of the highest standard, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a related role. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200 SAR. We are open to considering applicants from abroad.
Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Executive Chef is to lead and manage all kitchen activities, including menu planning, staff training, budgeting, inventory control, waste management, quality control and preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards. They must ensure that food is prepared safely and hygienically at all times while also ensuring that all dishes are presented in an attractive manner. Additionally, they must adhere to health regulations as required by local laws. Furthermore, the Executive Chef must consistently strive towards creating innovative menus that satisfy customersā needs while remaining within budgetary constraints.
Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants should possess at least 3 yearsā experience in a related role with knowledge of international cuisine preferred; excellent organizational skills; strong communication skills; good understanding of food safety regulations; great leadership abilities; creative problem solving skills; good financial management skills; working knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite and Point-of-Sale systems; and an eye for detail when it comes to presentation. A Bachelorās degree or equivalent qualification in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management is highly desirable but not required.
