Cashier job vacancy in Jabal-Ali UAE for unskilled worker


Job Description:

We are seeking a Cashier for our Jabal-Ali store. The successful candidate will manage customer transactions, including but not limited to cash, credit and debit payments. Cashiering duties include providing excellent customer service, accurately processing payments, and handling customer inquiries. We are also willing to consider an immigrant applicant for this role. The salary is 1600 AED/month.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous cashiering experience (preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling payments
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Proficient with computers and ability to learn new programs quickly

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers upon arrival in the store
• Operate cash register, process payments, and provide change as needed
• Keep accurate records of all transactions
• Answer any customer inquiries regarding products or services in the store
• Ensure all items purchased have a valid receipt before leaving the store
• Monitor shelves for restocking as needed
