Job Title: Electrician
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: 1300 QAR/month

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. We are open to considering immigrants for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair wiring, electrical fixtures and control systems.
- Perform inspections of the electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems using testing instruments such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
- Install power supply wiring and conduit such as EMT, O-CAL, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, etc.
- Test continuity of circuits using test equipment such as multimeters or ohmmeters.
- Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment or fixtures using hand tools or power tools when necessary.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required; degree in Electrical engineering is preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience as an Electrician in a similar role is essential to this position; experience working in Qatar is an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of the principles of electricity including AC/DC theory is essential for this role; knowledge of the local regulations pertaining to electricity is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools; ability to interpret blueprints and schematics is desired but not mandatory.
