Job Duties:
-Assess and diagnose patient’s illnesses or injuries.
-Prescribe medications or treatments to help patients manage their health.
-Discuss patient’s medical history, symptoms, diagnostic tests results or prescribed treatments.
-Record patient information in electronic medical records system.
-Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their families.
-Order laboratory tests, x rays or other diagnostic procedures for patients.
-Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare practitioners when necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

-MD/DO degree from accredited medical school
-Licensed Physician in the country of origin (for immigrant candidates)
-Minimum 3 years working experience as a Doctor in a similar environment

-Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information in an easy to understand way

-Thorough knowledge of clinical practices and regulations

-Ability to stay abreast of new developments in medicine through continuing education courses
