Job Description:
• Designing furniture, cabinets, shelving units, and other items using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials such as wood, metal or plastic to create furniture products as per customer requirements
• Installing fixtures such as shelves or doors into pre-prepared openings
• Finishing products by sanding them down, filling gaps or blemishes with putty or wood glue

Key Qualifications:
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques
• Knowledge of safety regulations in the workplace
• Ability to read technical drawings to produce items accurately
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to use hand tools as well as power tools
