Driver (Malayalee Preferred) - Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE
We are looking for a Driver with excellent customer service and communication skills to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE. The ideal candidate should have a valid driving license, a good knowledge of the area and must be familiar with all traffic laws and regulations. Preference will be given to candidates who are native Malayalees or who speak fluent Malayalam. The position includes visa sponsorship for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:
• Transport people or goods safely from one location to another
• Follow designated routes and time schedules
• Plan routes based on road and traffic conditions
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, fueled, and in good working order
• Comply with all applicable traffic laws
• Assist customers with loading/unloading of goods as necessary
• Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service status and inspection reports
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure etc.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a driver for at least 2 years
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
