Position: Land Surveyor
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: 1100 QR per month

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Land Surveying
• Previous experience in the Middle East region is preferable
• International certification in land surveying is preferable (e.g. RICS)
• Excellent knowledge of English both written and spoken
• Good knowledge of local laws and regulations related to land surveyor activities
• Good communication skills and ability to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Job Description:
The Land Surveyor will be responsible for the preparation of land surveys for the purpose of mapping and boundary identification. The job requires excellent knowledge of modern surveying techniques, as well as good understanding of surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS receivers, etc. The Surveyor will be expected to use AutoCAD software for preparing survey maps. The main duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Conducting land surveys on a variety of sites including residential, commercial and industrial properties.
• Analyzing data using a variety of software programs such as AutoCAD, GIS mapping software etc.
• Preparing reports based on the survey results.
• Keeping up-to-date records for all surveyed properties.
• Providing technical advice on land survey matters to clients.

The successful candidate should have strong problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail when conducting surveys or preparing maps or reports. He/she should be able to work with minimal supervision and should have good communication skills in order to effectively liaise with clients or other professionals working on a project.
