Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Mason to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have excellent masonry skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be experienced in the use of a variety of tools and machinery. As a Mason you will be responsible for constructing walls, foundations, floors, retaining walls, and other structures from bricks, blocks, concrete and other materials. You should have excellent attention to detail and an eye for quality craftsmanship. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the construction sector with an established firm in Qatar.

Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams to understand specifications
• Prepare layouts in conformance with building codes using measuring instruments such as straightedges or squares
• Cut blocks to required sizes using power saws or hand tools
• Follow established safety rules and regulations as well as local building codes when completing projects
• Lay out flooring systems such as ceramic tile or marble block
• Construct brick walls with mortar using various hand tools such as trowels or hammers
• Install window frames, doorways, partitions and various other fixtures according to the plan specified by the client
• Construct precast concrete slabs for columns and beams with the use of appropriate tools
• Ensure that all materials are correctly assembled according to safety regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Previous experience as a mason is desirable but not required
• Knowledge of local building codes
• Ability to read blueprints or technical diagrams
• Ability to use various hand tools such as trowels or hammers
