Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in housekeeping/cleaning service management, preferably in a 5-star hotel/resort.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the hospitality industry and its standards of operation.
• Ability to plan and organize tasks and workloads.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the housekeeping staff, ensuring that they are adequately trained in all aspects of housekeeping service and safety regulations.
• Plan daily tasks for the housekeeping staff, ensuring that they are completed on time and with quality standards met.
• Monitor staff performance to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively according to company policies and procedures.
• Carry out regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, pool areas, etc., to ensure that all areas are clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure that all guests receive an excellent level of service from the housekeeping team at all times during their stay at the hotel/resort.
• Liaise with other departments (e.g., Front Desk) to ensure that guest requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Manage inventories (e.g., cleaning supplies) to ensure that there is always enough stock available for use by the housekeeping team.
