Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter in Doha to join our team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood or other materials. The successful candidate must be able to read technical drawings and have knowledge of the properties of different materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600QAR per month. We are open to considering foreign applicants for this position.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark cutting lines onto materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
• Cut and shape components using hand tools such as chisels, planes, saws, hammers etc.
• Assemble cut and shaped components to form structures or fixtures according to specifications
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, shelves etc.
• Ensure accuracy of work by checking dimensions with measuring devices such as tape measures
• Repair existing structures or fixtures made of wood or other materials when necessary
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on all tools being used
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Minimum 3 years experience in carpentry work is required
• Knowledge of the properties of different materials is essential
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately is required
• Good physical fitness is necessary due to the physical nature of the job

Salary
1600QAR per month
