Library Assistant (Contractual) – Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are looking for a Library Assistant to work in a library in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a contractual position and applicants should possess a valid biometric passport and the ability to speak English. Previous experience is not required, but it is preferred. This position does not include accommodation. Preference will be given to Indian applicants.

As Library Assistant, you will be responsible for helping patrons find books and other materials, providing basic information about library policies and services, shelving books, organizing periodicals, and performing other clerical duties as assigned. You should also be comfortable using computers for cataloging and other tasks.

To be successful as Library Assistant, you should have excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and an interest in reading. You should also have good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
