Librarian vacancy in Sharjah UAE

Librarian - Sharjah, UAE (Preferably Indians & Malayalees)

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate should be Indian or Malayalee and preferably not need English language skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing the library resources, including books, periodicals, videos, and other material. They will also provide research assistance to patrons; select materials; catalogue new materials; promote library services; maintain records; and update the library’s computer databases.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Library Science or Information Science as well as a minimum of two years working experience in a library setting. They should also possess excellent organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of library software applications is essential.
