Boatswain vacancy in El-Fujairah UAE

Boatswain - El-Fujairah, UAE (Part Time)

We are looking for a part time Boatswain to join our team in El-Fujairah, UAE. The ideal candidate should be of Pakistani nationality and does not need to have any English proficiency.

The Boatswain will be responsible for performing duties related to the maintenance and operation of the vessel, as well as supervising a crew of sailors. The role requires knowledge of maritime safety regulations, navigation, and seamanship. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining an accurate logbook of all activities on board
• Supervising the loading and unloading of cargo
• Inspecting cargo holds and hatches for any damage or water leakage
• Repairing and maintenance of rigging, masts, sails, lines, anchors etc.
• Overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of the vessel’s deck and superstructure
• Monitoring safety equipment performance
• Training crew members on security procedures
• Monitoring weather conditions during navigation
