Phlebotomist

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar on a contract basis. This is an urgent position and we are looking for candidates who do not require English proficiency. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood from patients and collecting samples for medical testing and analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws on patients using proper techniques and following safety protocols
- Label and store collected samples properly for transportation to the lab
- Keep accurate records of all blood draws and specimens collected
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort during the blood draw process
- Follow all procedures and protocols for handling potentially infectious materials
- Assist with other clinical tasks as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid certification as a Phlebotomist in Qatar or willingness to obtain one through visa sponsorship
- Proven experience in performing blood draws preferred, but not required
- Ability to work under pressure in an urgent setting
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
- Must be able to provide own accommodation in Al-Khor area
