Petroleum Engineer - Entry Level
We are seeking a highly motivated Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As an Entry Level Petroleum Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers to support and execute projects related to the exploration, extraction, and production of petroleum resources.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to determine the most efficient methods for extracting petroleum resources
- Assist in designing and implementing drilling plans for oil and gas wells
- Monitor well performance and make recommendations for optimization
- Collaborate with other engineers and technical professionals to develop solutions for operational challenges
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Prepare reports on project progress, data analysis, and cost estimates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in the petroleum industry (internships or co-op experience may be considered)
- Knowledge of drilling techniques, reservoir engineering, and production operations
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in industry software such as Petrel or Eclipse
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Must be able to obtain a work visa for Qatar
