Petroleum Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient extraction of oil and gas from underground reservoirs. Your duties will include conducting drilling and production operations, analyzing geological data, designing well completions, and managing the overall production process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting field surveys and analyzing geological data to determine the potential for oil and gas extraction.
- Designing drilling plans and well completions to maximize production.
- Managing drilling operations, including monitoring progress, troubleshooting any issues, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Analyzing production data and implementing techniques to increase efficiency and optimize production levels.
- Collaborating with other team members, including geologists, geophysicists, and technicians to ensure successful operations.
- Regularly inspecting equipment to ensure proper functioning and identifying any maintenance or repair needs.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology to enhance performance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in petroleum engineering or related field.
- Proficient in using industry-specific software such as Petrel or Eclipse.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret geological data.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to oil and gas operations.
- Willingness to work long hours in sometimes harsh weather conditions.

Preferred:
- Experience working with biometric passports or other advanced security measures.
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required.
