Part-Time Industrial Engineer (Indian Nationals)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. Responsibilities:
- Conduct time and motion studies to analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop efficient production layouts and workflows to optimize productivity and reduce waste
- Utilize statistical analysis to evaluate data and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and monitor their effectiveness
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements or sourcing alternative materials or suppliers
- Analyze production schedules and capacity utilization to ensure efficient use of resources
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in production processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficient in time study methods, process mapping, value stream mapping, statistical analysis, and other lean manufacturing tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the construction industry or related field
- Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD software

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The employee must have their own visa. The work may require occasional visits to construction sites where safety gear must be worn.
