Cashier - Entry Level (Indian Nationals Only)


We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier. This is a great entry-level opportunity for Indian nationals looking to gain experience in the retail industry in Doha, Qatar.

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling transactions and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your main duties will include scanning items, processing payments, issuing receipts, and providing accurate change. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

To excel in this role, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As an entry-level position, no previous cashier experience is required, but basic math skills are necessary. Fluency in English is not mandatory for this position as long as you can communicate effectively with customers.

We understand that relocating to a new country can be challenging, which is why we do not require any previous experience or English proficiency for this role. We also provide training on the job to help you develop the necessary skills to succeed as a Cashier.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the checkout counter.
- Scan items accurately and process payments using cash or credit/debit cards.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure correct amounts.
- Issue receipts and provide accurate change to customers.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and policies to answer customer questions.
- Keep checkout area clean and organized at all times.
- Bag items carefully to prevent damages during transportation.
- Assist with restocking shelves when needed.
- Handle returns or exchanges following company policies.
- Follow all safety protocols while handling cash and store equipment.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills and ability to use a cash register.
- Good communication skills in English (preferred but not required).
- Friendly and customer service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be an Indian national.
