Indian Accountant in Jabal-Ali, UAE
Our company, located in Jabal-Ali, UAE, is currently looking for a skilled Indian Accountant to join our team. As our company continues to grow, we need someone with strong accounting knowledge and experience to support our financial operations.
As an Indian Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all accounting functions including preparing financial statements, analyzing accounts and budgets, and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. You will also handle day-to-day financial transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and has excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and be familiar with accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Analyze accounts and budgets to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations by staying updated on changes in accounting standards
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions such as accounts payable and receivable
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis
- Prepare monthly budget reports for management review
- Assist with audit preparations by providing necessary financial documents
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Proficient in accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday. As this is an urgent requirement, we are looking for someone who can join our team immediately. Applicants must have a valid biometric passport as it is required for employment in the UAE.
