Phlebotomist


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. This position is open to Indian nationals and does not require English proficiency. We welcome candidates who have no prior experience in this field as we provide comprehensive training. Accommodation will also be provided for the successful candidate.

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients for medical testing and analysis. Your primary role will be to collect blood specimens in a safe, accurate and efficient manner while maintaining patient comfort and confidentiality. Your duties will include but not limited to:

- Identifying patients and verifying their identities before drawing blood samples
- Explaining the procedure to patients and answering any questions they may have
- Preparing the necessary equipment and supplies for blood collection
- Choosing the appropriate method of venipuncture based on patient's age, condition or preference
- Drawing blood samples from veins or arteries by using sterile techniques
- Labeling and documenting collected specimens correctly according to established procedures
- Transporting specimens to the laboratory for analysis in a timely manner
- Maintaining proper sanitation and safety protocols at all times

To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and empathy towards patients. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential. You should also be physically fit as this job requires standing for long periods of time.

Requirements:
- Indian nationality with valid work permit in Qatar (preferred)
- No prior experience required, but training or certification in phlebotomy is an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent education level (preferably in science-related field)
- Good communication skills in English (not mandatory)
- Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion
