Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing efforts of our hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Your main goal will be to increase revenue and occupancy through effective sales strategies and partnerships with other businesses and organizations. This position is open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including Pakistanis, Africans, and English-speaking individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans that align with the hotel's overall goals and budget
- Identify potential clients and build relationships with them to promote the hotel's services and amenities
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to create promotional packages and campaigns
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and increase brand awareness
- Monitor market trends and competitors' activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Negotiate contracts with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and report on performance regularly
- Train and supervise the hotel's sales team to ensure they are knowledgeable about the property's offerings and able to meet their targets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals within the hospitality industry
- Strong network of contacts in relevant industries (corporate, travel, events)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with CRM software is preferred
