Security Specialist - Umm-Said, Qatar


We are immediately hiring a qualified Security Specialist to join our team in Umm-Said, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in security operations and be able to effectively manage and mitigate potential risks. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing security threats, implementing preventative measures, and responding to any incidents that may occur.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks
- Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures in accordance with company policies and industry standards
- Monitor security systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Conduct investigations into security incidents and provide detailed reports of findings
- Collaborate with other departments to develop emergency response plans and procedures
- Stay updated on current security trends, threats, and best practices to continuously improve our system

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of risk management principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels
- Proven ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently
- Experience with security technology systems (CCTV, access control, etc.)
- Prior experience working in Qatar or knowledge of local laws/regulations is preferred
