Petroleum Engineer - Field Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Petroleum Engineer for our company located in Ar-Ruwais, United Arab Emirates. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient and cost-effective field development plans for oil and gas projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of potential oil and gas fields to determine feasibility of development
- Design and implement field development plans that optimize production while minimizing operational costs
- Analyze reservoir data and make recommendations for drilling, completion, and production strategies
- Collaborate with geologists, geoscientists, and other engineers to develop integrated field development plans
- Monitor well performance and make adjustments as needed to maximize production
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
- Utilize advanced reservoir engineering techniques to optimize well placement, stimulation, and recovery methods
- Prepare technical reports for management and regulatory agencies
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the petroleum industry.
- Strong understanding of reservoir engineering principles.
- Familiarity with simulation software such as Eclipse or CMG.
- Proficient in economic evaluation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
