Executive Chef for Indian Cuisine
We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef with a passion for Indian cuisine to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Indian restaurant and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1700$.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menus that reflect authentic Indian flavors while also catering to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparing and presenting dishes according to our standards
- Monitor food costs and inventory levels to ensure budget targets are met
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team
- Experience with menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with local tastes and preferences. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Executive Chef who is passionate about showcasing traditional Indian flavors. Accommodation will not be provided for this role.
