Head Chef - International Cuisine (Ar-Ruwais)
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our international cuisine kitchen in Ar-Ruwais. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a diverse menu that caters to a global audience. You will oversee a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design an international menu that reflects our restaurant's concept and caters to different tastes and dietary restrictions
- Create new dishes and update existing ones, ensuring they are innovative, visually appealing, and cost-effective
- Train and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, monitoring their performance and providing feedback as needed
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, from sourcing ingredients to plating the final dish
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to plan special events or themed nights featuring international cuisines
- Manage food inventory, order supplies, and control food waste to maintain profitability
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a reputable international restaurant
- Proven experience in creating diverse menus featuring various international cuisines
- Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks efficiently, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills (English proficiency preferred)
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: 1400$ (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Ar-Ruwais
Nationality Preference: Pakistani or Egyptian (non-native speakers welcome)
