Front Desk Receptionist - Al-Rayyan, Qatar
We are a busy hotel in Al-Rayyan looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing all aspects of the front desk operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and assist with check-in/check-out process
- Handle reservations and inquiries via phone, email or in person
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
- Maintain accurate guest records and handle payments
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of hotel reservation systems
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with 6-day work week. The salary for this role is 1300$ per month. As this is a front-facing role, you must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings. This position is open to Pakistani nationals.
