Wedding Planner
As a wedding planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning all aspects of a wedding, from the initial consultation with the client to the execution of the event. This includes working closely with the couple to understand their vision and preferences, creating a budget and timeline, sourcing and coordinating with vendors, managing logistics, and ensuring all details are executed flawlessly on the day of the wedding.
Your main duties will include:
- Meeting with clients to discuss their vision for their wedding and understand their preferences
- Creating a budget and timeline for the wedding
- Sourcing and coordinating with vendors such as caterers, florists, photographers, and musicians
- Assisting with contract negotiations and ensuring all necessary permits are obtained
- Overseeing logistics such as transportation, accommodations, and venue setup
- Managing guest lists and RSVPs
- Providing guidance on etiquette and traditions related to weddings
- Ensuring all details are executed flawlessly on the day of the wedding
- Handling any last-minute issues or emergencies that may arise during the planning process or on the day of the wedding
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and other involved parties. Attention to detail is crucial in order to ensure that every aspect of the wedding is taken care of. You should also have strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while staying within budget constraints.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred
- Knowledge of different cultural wedding traditions is a plus
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Creative problem-solving abilities
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of 1600$, along with accommodation.
