Job Title: Chemical Engineer


A chemical engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the production of various chemicals and related products. They use their knowledge of chemistry, physics, and engineering to develop processes that efficiently and safely convert raw materials into usable products. In this role, you will work closely with other engineers and scientists to research new methods and technologies, as well as troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and design chemical processes for the production of various chemicals
- Research new methods and technologies to improve efficiency and quality
- Oversee the construction, installation, and operation of equipment used in the production process
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during production
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with other engineers and scientists to optimize processes
- Develop cost-effective solutions for process improvements
- Analyze data to identify trends or areas for improvement
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in a chemical engineering role (2+ years preferred)
- Knowledge of chemistry, physics, and engineering principles
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficiency in relevant software programs (e.g. CAD)
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to chemical production

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month.

This position is located in Lusail, Qatar.
