Executive Chef
We are in search of a talented and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and leading a team of culinary professionals. Your main duties will include creating and implementing menu items, managing inventory and food costs, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Train, supervise, and evaluate kitchen staff to ensure consistent high-quality food preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain budget goals
- Implement food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health codes
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve excellent results
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredients
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent training from a recognized institution
- Previous experience working in Abu Dhabi or the UAE region is highly desirable
Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
