Housekeeping Manager
As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all areas within a hotel or resort. This includes guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. You will be in charge of managing a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms are properly cleaned and maintained according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures for the hotel or resort
- Train and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area cleaners
- Monitor the performance of housekeeping staff and provide regular feedback and evaluations
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are being met
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring they are always well-stocked
- Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure all guest requests are promptly addressed
- Oversee the processing of guest laundry services
- Handle any complaints or issues from guests regarding housekeeping services
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Housekeeping Manager in a hotel or resort setting
- Excellent communication skills in English (and Malayalee if applicable)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Knowledgeable about industry standards for cleanliness and maintenance in hospitality establishments
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Salary: 1700$ per month
Location: Umm-Said, Qatar (Preference for Malayalee candidates)
