Product Designer (Contract) - Ar-Ruwais, Africa



We are looking for a talented Product Designer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Africa. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly products that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with our development team to bring your designs to life and ensure that they are functional and meet industry standards. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements
- Conduct market research and gather user feedback to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas
- Develop user interface designs that are intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and functional
- Work with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of designs into final products
- Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
- Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous product design work
- Proficient in design software such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
- Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML,CSS)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:
- Experience designing products for the African market or other emerging markets
- Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Experience using prototyping tools such as InVision or Figma
- Understanding of Agile development processes
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
