As an Indian Executive Chef in Riyadh, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of authentic Indian cuisine at our prestigious restaurant. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual who is passionate about delivering the highest quality dishes to our guests. You must have a solid understanding of Indian cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredients, as well as a creative flair to develop new and exciting menu items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking in the kitchen
- Plan menus and create new dishes that reflect traditional Indian flavors with a modern twist
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency
- Maintain inventory levels and order necessary supplies to meet demand
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
- Develop cost-effective menus that still deliver exceptional taste and presentation
- Collaborate with management to create special promotions or events featuring Indian cuisine
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, flavor profiles, ingredients, and regional variations
- Ability to train and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail when it comes to food presentation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (both speaking and writing)
- Valid own visa for employment in Riyadh
Salary:
$1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
