Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia)
We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the head of our kitchen, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation and menu creation for our Indian restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian cuisine and extensive experience in managing a kitchen. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$, with free visa and ticket provided. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates looking to gain experience in an executive chef role. English fluency is required, and previous experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus and recipes for Indian cuisine, ensuring quality and consistency
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for the kitchen
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Oversee food presentation to maintain high standards of quality and aesthetics
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with restaurant management on budgeting, staffing, and other operational decisions
Requirements:
- Passion for Indian cuisine with knowledge of traditional dishes and ingredients
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in an Indian restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively train staff from different backgrounds
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred but not required
- Valid work permit for Saudi Arabia preferred but not required
