Crane Operator

As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects at construction sites in Doha. You will need to have a biometric passport and be fluent in English. This full-time position is suitable for men and is open to Pakistani and Malayalee candidates.

In this role, you will operate different types of cranes, including tower cranes, mobile cranes, and overhead cranes. You will follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure the safe operation of the crane and prevent accidents or damages. You will also inspect the crane before each use to ensure it is in good working condition.

To be successful as a Crane Operator, you should have experience operating various types of cranes and possess a valid license/certification for operating cranes. You should also have excellent hand-eye coordination, physical strength, and good depth perception. Attention to detail is crucial as you will be responsible for safely maneuvering heavy loads in busy construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes according to job requirements
- Inspect crane before use and report any malfunctions or damages
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio
- Keep track of materials lifted by recording weight and type of load
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane such as greasing moving parts
- Report any accidents or near-misses immediately to the supervisor
