Instrument Technician



As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instruments used in the production and manufacturing processes. You will work in our facility in Al-Rayyan, Qatar and will be part of a team that ensures all equipment is functioning properly to meet production demands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and troubleshoot instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on instruments to keep them in optimal condition.
- Calibrate instruments according to established procedures and standards.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose complex issues and develop solutions.
- Document all work performed including test results, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
- Keep detailed records of instrument inventory and ensure proper storage and organization.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with hazardous materials or in confined spaces.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Instrument Technician in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation principles and ability to read technical diagrams.
- Familiarity with common testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure calibrators.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position. Additionally, we offer benefits including health insurance, annual leave, and opportunities for career growth within our organization.

We are open to sponsoring your visa application if you are not currently authorized to work in Qatar. However, this is subject to approval by the relevant government authorities.
