Full-time Merchandiser in Salalah, Oman
The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser with a passion for sales and customer service. As a full-time Merchandiser in Salalah, Oman, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are displayed and marketed effectively in retail stores and supermarkets.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales team to develop merchandising strategies that will increase product visibility and drive sales
- Ensure that all products are properly displayed and stocked on shelves according to company guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the sales team to ensure timely restocking
- Conduct regular store visits to assess product placement and make necessary adjustments
- Build relationships with store managers and staff to ensure our products receive top placement and promotion
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences
- Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Prepare reports on sales data, inventory levels, and market trends for management review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of retail operations and merchandising techniques is an asset
Salary: 1400$ per month without accommodation.
