Carpenter

Our construction company in Muscat is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, such as building frameworks, partitions, doors, and windows.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut wood accurately according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and door frames
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine materials needed for each project
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools or power tools
- Utilize various woodworking machines to cut, shape, and smooth wood pieces
- Inspect work pieces for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Adhere to safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry
- Skilled in working with hand and power tools used in carpentry such as saws, drills, sanders etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical plans
- Good understanding of math and measurements
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle heavy materials and equipment
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
